It doesn't get much better than this.

My 7-10pm watch just ended. Captain Adrien cooked up some baked chicken, corn, rice, and a salad with these amazingly sweet apples. The wind has been a steady 25 knots, the sea has flattened out a bit. The boat is doing solid 7 knots with occasional bursts over 8. Still warm enough for shorts and a wind breaker. Venus is setting in the West, and the quarter Moon is high over the stern reflecting off the waves. Miles Davis is playing in my headphones.

This is pretty nice.
